Sanvic Pulsatile Nasal/Sinus Irrigator is totally designed for the nasal/sinus irrigation based on the muco-ciliary movement of nasal/sinus mucosa. Sanvic Pulsatile Nasal/Sinus Irrigator can provide multiple pulsating frequencies to help restoring the muco-ciliary movement. We recommend using lower frequency for nasal allergy or early stages of URI (common cold), while using higher frequency for the rhino-sinusitis with tenacious mucopurulent discharge. The other pulsatile nasal irrigator in the market is utilizing a nasal adaptor fitting on an oral irrigator machine. The frequency of dental irrigator is starting from 1200/min or higher. Higher frequency might damage the vulnerable nasal mucosa and is not adequate for nasal allergy physiologically. The nasal tip adapted to a dental irrigator machine is not a perfect tool for nasal irrigation. The nasal irrigation should be more delicate, gentle than the dental irrigation, because nasal mucosa is more vulnerable to the teeth or gingiva.
